Pitches, Camping and Local Information
Located in the beautiful Kentish countryside
Located close to the wonderful beaches, New Romney village, Romney Marsh, Lydd Airport, Lydd Golf Course, Lydd Go-Kart Circuit and RSPB Dungeness Nature Reserve.
Far back in history the area was a maze of waterways, marshes and islands often used by invading armies as far back as the Romans and Vikings, and is said to be the birthplace of smuggling in the UK. The area was gradually claimed from the sea by systems of sea walls, dykes and canals reaching back to the 13th century. Now mostly farmland and nature reserves full of countryside walks and beaches, this wonderfully relaxing part of the country has an incredibly colourful history.
