Romney Meadows caravans and camping in the Kent countryside
Based in the middle of green farmers fields, near beautiful beaches and nature reserves; Tripadvisor Traveller's Choice Best Of The Best Award winners Romney Meadows Caravan Park offers an ideal getaway to one of Kent's best kept secrets, whether you want to caravan, motorhome or camp.
We're located just outside the seaside town of New Romney in the South East corner of Kent; a unique stretch of land which literally grew from the sea over thousands of years; an important port in Roman times, that become a smuggler's marshland in the 18th Century, a military defence against Napoleon, and today; miles of open fields, golf courses, little known sandy beaches and unique nature reserves.
Everything in the area is easily explored from Romney Meadows, where we offer modern, clean facilities and hook ups for caravans and motorhomes, as well as camping facilities and camping pods; a mixture of log cabin and glamping perfect for the tent experience, without the tent!
Facilities including all pitches with electrical points, kitchen facilities including a fridge freezer, microwave and drinking water, showers and toilets, a chemical disposal and recycling are all available on-site, whether you are staying in a caravan, log cabin or just camping.
Our friendly team are happy to help getting you settled in or directing you around the local area; we aim to run a park that can be enjoyed by all, where children, dogs and barbecues are all welcome but we ask everyone to be considerate and quiet through the night, so we usually avoid large scale group bookings.
Romney Meadows is all about finding some calm in this quiet corner of the country; enjoying a walk, cycling, sitting on the beach or playing a round of golf, and if you do want some excitement, there's always the watersports centres which are just a short drive through the countryside.
